Alston Koch is best remembered for his original songs, the most popular one being DISCO LADY,documented as the very first disco original work out of Australia in 1976 securing him a gold disc and also ‘KOOKABURRA’ the theme song for the America’s Cup in 1986 which was one of the first music videos played on MTV (USA) when they started broadcasting in the USA. Koch went on to write the theme for ‘Climate Change’ which was played to 170 of the World’s leaders in Copenhagen in Dec 2009. He was made Goodwill Ambassador for Climate Change and was also recently inducted into the Hard Rock Hotel ‘Hall of Fame’
