NB: Aficianados will note that the Pakistan Touring Squad included two ‘imports’ from UK in Clive Inman and Stanley Jayasinghe. Tissera, P.I.Pieris, H.I.K.Fernando, N. Chanmugan are in the picture above. ….and the two listings serve to underline the range and quality of the players emerging from domestic ranks in the early 1960s through to the 1970s — though emigration (e.g. Balakrishnan, Idroos, Ernst, Wimalaratne, Gurusinghe) depleted the ranks.
